Course overview - Rotation 4 and 5
During the first half term - rotation 4, learners will have the choice to participate in Badminton or Table Tennis. The focus of the sessions is to develop coordination and agility as well as specific racket skills. Developing a variety of forehand and backhand shots and moving onto more advanced techniques. Understanding and implementing rules and scoring games accurately.
During the second half term - rotation 5, learners will have the choice to participate in Fitness or Basketball. The focus of the sessions is to build on the skills and strategies developed in C7. The focus for the fitness sessions will be recapping the different types of fitness, and developing an understanding of how to test them and how to train them. The focus for basketball will be to apply the strategies learned during the first term to a different invasion game.

Assessment Points:
One skills and gameplay assessment per half term with a milestone assessment during each half term to highlight areas for improvement:
- Badminton or Table Tennis
- Fitness or Basketball
Guidance:
Learners will receive, mainly verbal guidance throughout each session. This will be recorded by learners once per half term.
