Course overview - Study Period 3 and 4
During the first half term, study period 3, learners will complete an introductory course in Python programming. Python is a textual programming language used to solve a variety of computational problems. Learners will understand how to use Python IDLE and run a Python program, use Python to perform calculations and write simple programs that respond to user input.
During the second half term, study period 4, learners will complete a Unit of Work investigating Flowcharts and Pseudocode. Learners will be able to design, use and evaluate computational abstractions that model the state and behaviour of real-world problems and physical systems.
