Leak Detector

Step 1 — Power On Device & Connect Probe

• Screw the antenna onto the main device

• Connect the probe to the USB-C port on the main device

• Press and hold the far right button for 6 seconds until the LED blinks, then release

• The device has connected successfully when the LED flashes solid green (can take ~1 minute)

Step 2 — Place the Probe

• To detect flooding, place the probe directly on the floor

• To detect overflow, secure the probe at the desired alert level

• Secure the probe in place using an adhesive or cable clip

• Mount the main device to the wall using double-sided adhesive tape or screws

Step 3 — Scan & Register the Device

• Scan the QR code on the device using your camera or QR scanner to launch the Hexmodal dashboard

• Log in with your username and password

• Select Building and add a description for Location

• Optionally place the device on a floor plan by tapping its location

• Tap Save & Submit

Step 4 — Check Connection

• In the dashboard, scroll down to the Compliance Status tab

• If the device doesn't automatically connect, dunk the probe into a cup of water to trigger an alert

• If it still doesn't connect, contact Hexmodal support
