Activating a Hexmodal Cold Storage Monitor

Step by Step Guide

1. 1. Open Your Camera App

      • Use your phone or iPad's camera app.

   2. Scan the QR Code

      • Scan the QR code on the front of the device.

   3. Log In

      • If prompted, log into the Hexmodal system.

      • Rescan the QR code to access the activation page.

   4. Select the Building

      • Choose the building from the drop-down menu or add a new building.

   5. Specify the Location

      • Enter the specific location (e.g., "Hexmodal office").

   6. Add Asset Tag (Optional)

      • If replacing an existing device, enter the asset tag under the custom asset number.

   7. Set Thresholds

      • Adjust temperature and humidity settings (e.g., 35-44°F and 30-60% humidity).

   8. Attach Probe (If Applicable)

      • If using a buffer bottle and probe system, select "Yes" for the probe attachment.

   9. Manage Alert Settings

      • Choose pre-configured alert settings (e.g., for a nutrition fridge).

      • Assign a contact person responsible for the device.

   10. Place on Floor Plan

       • Tap the exact location on the floor plan.

   11. Save and Submit

       • Hit "Save and Submit" to finalize the setup.

   12. View Device Page

       • Check the device page for communication status.
