Activating a Hexmodal Door Sensor

Step by Step Guide

1. 1. Open Your Camera App

1. 1. • Use your phone or tablet's camera app.

1. 2. Scan the QR Code

      • Scan the QR code on the door sensor.

   3. Log In

      • If prompted, log into your Hexmodal account.

      • After logging in, scan the QR code again to reach the activation page.

   4. Select the Building

      • From the drop-down menu, select the building where the sensor is located.

      • If the building is not listed, click the plus sign to add it.

   5. Specify the Location

      • Enter the specific location within the building (e.g., "my office").

   6. Add Custom Asset Number (Optional)

      • If you have an asset tag for the sensor, add it to the custom asset number field.

      • Filling this out will help match all of your historical records in the reports.

   7. Assign a Contact Person (Optional)

      • Assign a team member responsible for this light as the contact person.

   8. Connect to Pressure Monitor (If Applicable)

      • If pairing with a Hexmodal Pressure Monitor, select the serial number of the device you're pairing with.

      • If the serial number is not on the drop down, make sure you have first activated the pressure monitor on the platform, then retry.

   9. Place on Floor Plan

      • Tap the location of the light on the floor plan.

   10. Save and Submit

       • Scroll down and click "Save and Submit."

   11. Check device is activated

       • Check the compliance status and device history.
