The Bedford Junior High Student Council Tamale Fundraiser kicks off October 22 and runs through November 5!
Order your delicious frozen tamales just in time for the holidays — perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Tamales will be available for pickup on November 19 at Bedford JH.
All proceeds directly benefit the Bedford JH Student Council, helping fund the 2025–2026 Legacy Project and other campus initiatives such as our Kindness Rock Garden.
Tired of your worn out lanyard or string? Toro and TCC will be at BJH to give every student a free lanyard on Monday, October 27.
TCC is local and has many amazing programs.
In Mrs. Marcaccio's class, students wrapped up reading the novel, Ghost, about a boy that found a sense of belonging on a track team. After working hard with the novel all six weeks, the classes went to the track to run their own races! The weather was perfect and the kids had a blast cheering each other on!
The Concert and Symphonic band had an outstanding concert on Wednesday night in the BJH Gym. The students performed beautifully for a packed house.
Concert band's performance included Pranks of the Pesky Poltergeist, a crowd favorite perfect for Halloween.
Symphonic band's performance included Evergreen Escapades, a piece that they will perform on their trip to Indianapolis in March! We've already started learning Christmas music and look forward to our next performance in December.
Beginner band did an awesome job in the Fall Debut Concert. Each class demonstrated their first sounds and played a song from their book. The whole beginner band played together for the first time on the "hit song" Mary Had a Little Lamb.
Early voting for the HEB ISD School Funding Referendum (Proposition A) is open now through Friday, October 31, and Election Day is Tuesday, November 4.
This election pertains to maintenance & operations – the funds that directly impact teacher & staff pay, programs, and the resources that support our students every day. If you haven’t already voted, now’s the time to make your voting plan, with a specific polling location and time that works for you.
Let’s lead by example and make sure every voice is heard. Find full voting location details at Tarrant County Voter Lookup. You can also review informational materials at www.hebisdschoolfunding.com.
Every vote counts, and together, we make a difference!

Mrs. Munoz would like to recognize Hakeem S. for "doing the right thing." Students at this lunch table have improved with staying seated and following instructions because of Hakeem's leadership.
