During Thursday's D&D session, two separate groups crossed paths in the woods after a fireball gave away their positions. After joining forces, they uncovered a new lead: a missing soldier trapped inside a nearby cave. Working together, the party fought off a group of goblins and successfully pushed forward in their mission.

New Safety Equipment Storage on Campuses
In accordance with a new Texas school safety law, HEB ISD will be installing secure equipment safes in or near the lobby of each campus to store required emergency response tools. These safes are part of statewide safety standards and are intended to support rapid response by trained law enforcement in the event of an emergency. The safes do not contain firearms, will remain locked at all times and are accessible only to authorized personnel. This measure is one of several steps HEB ISD continues to take to prioritize the safety and security of our students and staff.

The 8th grade Lady Broncos had their first home game this week and showed out in front of a packed house, taking down cross town rival Central 48 - 17. In the rematch from last year's District championship game, both undefeated teams came out with high intensity and focus. After the first quarter, your Broncos held a 14 - 4 lead, and pushed it to 26 - 7 by halftime. Although we held a solid lead, the atmosphere and intensity felt like a tight contest from start to finish. Once again, our defense was suffocating all around and the true star of the show. We only allowed Central 17 points by the end of the game, securing our 4th win in a row by a final score of 48 - 17.
The girls will take on Haltom at home next Thursday, hoping to stay atop the District leaderboard.
