7th grade has been exploring Physical and Chemical Changes in science class. Students had a great time with the experiment.
Mrs. Honstein would like to recognize Ahnali Rosales for her "great class participation." I'm so grateful to have Ahnali in my class. She is respectful towards her teachers and peers. She is willing to help others that need it and always participates in class. She works hard in class everyday. I appreciate her sweet and mature demeanor. Way to be an awesome Bronco!
Mrs. Shaw would like to recognize Gavyn Gill for "great class participation." Gavyn has been an awesome example to his class. He is respectful, participates during notes, uses his class time wisely, and provides peer tutoring when needed. Keep up the great work Gavyn!
Coach Schulz would like to recognize Dominik Sheridan for his willingness to help.
During B lunch kids were throwing food, which ended up on the floor. When I asked the table to pick up the food, Dominik was the only one who got up voluntarily to help. Thank you for being helpful and willing to do the right thing!
Mrs. Munoz would like to recognize Alia Gallegos for "doing the right thing." She and her friend group were noticed for showing special kindness and gentleness with another student. Thanks for being a friendly Bronco!
Mrs. Munoz would like to recognize Jeyren Monsivais for "doing the right thing." She and her friend group were noticed for showing special kindness and gentleness with another student during lunch. Thanks for being a friendly Bronco!
Mrs. Shaw would like to recognize Decorian Henderson for being "courteous and respectful." Decorian is always so nice to switch out the journal basket between classes! This is a great help when trying to prepare for the next class. Thank you for being so helpful!

Congratulations to the 8th grade Volleyball teams for defeating Watauga Middle School in their second match of the season.
Team 2 won 25-21, 25-8. Myla Taylor, Addyson Stuth, Addylin Smith, Bethany VanKleef and Kamryn Turner applied constant service pressure all match long. Lilly Park, Mallorie Hurtado, Kinsley Young completed aggressive attacks and a solid net presence. Defensively Klaire Pesce and Reyna Ochoa-Gonzalez were standouts.
Team 1 won 25-4, 25-23. In set one Brooklyn Harris came out firing serving seven points in a row. Then Naomi Jackson went on an amazing 14 point run as we dominated the first set. In set two, Watauga fought back but we were ready. Abby Zubrod, Addyson Niutei and Naomi Jackson were poised from the service line and kept us in the match. Karsyn Caudle had an outstanding match as an outside hitter and got us key kills multiple times. Down 16-19 team 1 stayed calm and disciplined in the comeback win 25-23.
Both teams are 2-0 to start the season.
