9th grade: Scarlett S. and Hunter G.
8th grade: Julia M. and Austin H.
7th grade: Christine M. and Mohamad A.
These Broncos have shown hard work, active participation, a willingness to help others, and a positive attitude—all qualities of true leaders!
Scarlett S. is such a kind and dependable student. She is always willing to help others, whether that means assisting a classmate, offering encouragement, or doing small things without being asked. Scarlett takes responsibility for her work and consistently does her best. She has a positive attitude and shows respect to everyone around her. Her caring nature and willingness to help make a difference in our classroom, and she is truly deserving of this recognition.
This student is always willing to help others and does so without hesitation. He is not afraid to ask questions and genuinely wants to understand the material. He stays on task during class and uses his time wisely. His curiosity and willingness to learn really stand out, and he approaches science the way a true scientist should.
Julia consistently brings a positive attitude into the classroom, arriving each day with a smile and a strong work ethic. She actively participates in class, is always ready to help her peers, and leads by example through her kindness and dedication. Julia truly embodies the qualities of a Student of the Month and is an absolute joy to have in class.
Austin truly exemplifies what it means to be a Student of the Month. He is a natural leader in the classroom who consistently sets a positive example for others. Austin is kind to everyone he meets, and his smile genuinely lights up the classroom and always knows how to make us laugh. Austin works hard every day, gives his best effort, and helps create a welcoming and encouraging learning environment.
Chrissy is such a sweet young lady who always makes my day! She always ask how my day is going and can always tell if I am having a bad day and gives me a hug. She does an outstanding job in the classroom and on the court. She will always help out where needed and help her classmates. She is an amazing Bronco! Keep up the great work
Mohamad is an outstand student who works extremely hard in class. He helps others in class by helping translate when they don't understand. He is a ray of sunshine everyday saying good morning and asking how your day is and is such a delight to have in class. You can't ask for a better student, keep being an awesome Bronco and working hard.
Mrs. Slinker’s Touch System Data Entry (Keyboarding) classes are hard at work every day sharpening their keying skills. To give brains (and backs) a break from perfect posture and eyes-on-screen focus, students enjoy a daily brain break. Today’s break turned into a full-on Congo line to Elvis Presley’s Jailhouse Rock—proving that even keyboarding class knows how to rock and roll!
Seventh grade science students explored plate tectonics by modeling plate boundaries using graham crackers and Cool Whip. Students demonstrated convergent boundaries (plates colliding), divergent boundaries (plates moving apart), and transform boundaries (plates sliding past one another). The graham crackers represented Earth’s tectonic plates, while the Cool Whip modeled magma or lava rising to the surface. Students had a great time and made real connections.

The Bronco Boys Basketball Team played Haltom Junior High here at Bedford.
The B team won with a final score of 27-14. The Broncos started off slow but thanks to the stifling defense of Ebenezer N. and Brandon T., the Broncos were able to get ahead during the start of the second half. It was an all around score effort with Knox W. and Ben M. leading with 7 and 6 points.
The A team started the game off on fire with multiple three's from Kasen T. and Caleb B. Lawson R. led the way setting up himself and his teammates for easy points. The defense effort from the entire team was apparent throughout the entire game. Noah G. and Hank D. were everywhere on the court resulting in multiple steals and second chance points on offense. The final score for the A team was 61-47.
These wins put both teams' records to 3-2!
Team 1 earned a gritty 41–31 win over Haltom, grinding it out in a tough matchup. The team locked in defensively, making key stops and staying focused when it mattered most. That defensive effort set the tone and helped seal a hard-earned victory.
Team 2 picked up a big 28–11 win over Haltom, controlling the game on both sides of the ball. Strong defense led to easy buckets on offense. So proud of both groups for continuing to find a way to win. Keep up the good work!
