Charlie is one of the kindest and brightest young men to be in my class. He is always so kind to his classmates and teachers. He is incredibly bright and turns in incredible projects. He commits to everything he does 100% and turns in amazing work. He is a leader in class and in NJHS. I am incredibly proud of the effort he puts forth in class every day. He is a true rock star on campus.
Finley is an exceptional student who consistently sets the bar high for herself and others. She comes to class prepared, works diligently to complete her assignments, and is always willing to help classmates who need support. Finley arrives each day with a smile and a positive attitude that makes the classroom a better place to learn. She embraces challenges, pushes herself to meet her own high standards, and never settles for “good enough.” Her work ethic, kindness, and determination make her a truly deserving Student of the Month.
Elijah B. is a quiet leader in class: he is a tireless worker, extremely creative, and always positive. Elijah is a great helper in class and is always ready to help in any way needed. Elijah is a shining example of what makes Bedford Best!
Mollie is one incredible yearbook staffer! It is really challenging to be a staffer as a seventh grader since you are new to the campus. However, this has not held her back from learning everything she can and doing the best work every day. She is very gifted at designing pages, taking photos and working dilligently to create the best yearbook for the campus to be proud of. This year's book would not be the same if it weren't for her diligence and commitment to getting this book completed. Ms. Keneda is so proud of her efforts and her hard work. Thank you for committing to yearbook and making a book everyone can be proud of!
Jaden is an outstanding student who consistently demonstrates responsibility and a strong work ethic. He always arrives to class on time, listens carefully to instructions, and comes prepared and ready to work. Jaden is eager to do his best and is always willing to help others when needed. Check out what our amazing PTA gifted to the school, a brand new score table for the gym! This will be such a great addition for our games and events. We are so thankful for the BEST PTA around!
Mrs. Marcaccio's class was transformed into a poetry cafe today! Students entered the dimly lit classroom with cafe music in the background. They enjoyed drinking hot chocolate while practicing reading with expression and meaning. They rehearsed their poems in small groups and presented them for the class. It was a fun way to end the week!

8th grade boys basketball had a tough battle last night at Euless. The B team started off slow but picked it up in the 2nd quarter to stay within 10 points at half. The second half got away from the Broncos and the final score ended up being 51-34. Outstanding performances from Johan N., Koltyn G., Austin B., and Cooper Mc.
The A - team faced a much larger Stallion team. They did not back down! While the outcome was not a win, they showed true grit and determination playing at a high level until the very end. Big games from Darius W., Ryder D., and Mason G. on the offensive side. Defensive standouts were Irwin L. and Ryder D.
Your Lady Broncos defended their first place standings last night, taking down the Euless Stallions in smooth fashion.
Team 2, on a five game win streak since their mid season tournament, played some of the best team basketball we've seen all year, holding Euless to 2 in the first quarter and only 5 the first half, while recording 6 assists and putting up 24 points. There was no let-up in the second half and your Broncos proved why they are at the top of the District, finishing up with a score of 35 - 13 and continuing the streak.
Team 1 came out aggressive offensively from the jump and got Euless in foul trouble early, shooting 7 free throws in the first quarter alone. The offensive pressure paired with 11 assists and our impenetrable defense put us up 33 - 3 heading into halftime. The second half was copy/paste with your Broncos holding the Stallions to only 3 more points and putting up 8 more assists offensively, recording a final score of 45 - 6 and pushing the win streak to 8.
Both teams have their final game of the regular season next Thursday, taking on Harwood at home at 5pm and 6:15pm. They would love to see the stands packed for their last regular season game, as they try to keep their undefeated season intact!
Team 1 hosts their rescheduled Mid Season Tournament this Friday and Saturday in the Bedford Junior High gyms. Your Broncos will play at 5pm today (Feb 5) and there will be games at 8am, 9am, and championship at 10:30am Saturday morning.
