As the year is coming to a close, all listeners on Spotify and Apple Music get their music taste exposed in a yearly showcase of all the things you listen to. You'll see your top artists, songs, albums, and moods throughout the year. And so we ask the question, what do Explore students listen to? 

We interviewed and surveyed students across grades, clubs, and multiple days to get an idea. Here are the results:

Despite the data provided by Spotify, most listeners we talked to disagreed with the results. 7th-grade student Alexis Rich summed up the feeling of having your Wrapped betray you pretty well. “Even though he’s [Jackson] great, I prefer a lot more different artists.”

All in all, Explore listened to a lot of music this year, and we’ll keep listening to our favorite artists as the new year rolls in.
