Programmes

Students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills in Fitness Management, Sports and Games, Sports Safety, and Health Education.

Students will complete either the Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) or National Physical Fitness Award (NAPFA) in semester 1 of their second year of study in HCI.

The PE & CCA Department organises the Combined Sports Meet and Festival of Sports, providing platforms for students to harness their organisational skills, and interact with fellow school mates.

CCA is an integral part of education. With a wide range of CCAs from the categories of Sports & Games, Visual & Performing Arts, Service & Enrichment, students will have the chance to continue their passion from their secondary school years as well as explore new activities. Each student is expected to take up at least one CCA during their years in college.

Through experiential learning in CCAs, students develop perspective taking, relationship management and moral action. Structured reflection, guided discovery and problem-solving will help students to internalise the core values of the institution.

Newly appointed CCA leaders will assume their roles at the end of the first semester. There is a structured Leadership Training Programme, including camps and workshops for student leaders and CCA ExCo members to enhance their leadership. These are organised by the PE & CCA Department, together with the CCA Council. The Leadership Training Programme will equip them with skills and knowledge to lead and manage their respective CCAs. The CCA Appraisal system encourages leaders to review their processes, honing their critical thinking and analytical skills.
