Media Resource 

MEDIA RESOURCE 

The Media Resource Room is located at TECH HUB (B218). Opening hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. 

Students may scan the QR code for request of loan of equipment and return them at TECH HUB at the end of the loan period immediately.

• Students are to approach Teacher in charge to sign out for the equipment. Only teacher in charge can sign out the equipment for the event. However, the loan will be subjected for availability and Media Resource department reserved the rights to reject any loan.                                                                                          

• The loan is only valid for 3 working days.

• Renewal of loan can be done once and is subjected to availability.

Breakdown / Loss of Equipment

• In case of any loss/damaged equipment during the period of loan, the borrower has to inform Media Resource technician immediately. They will be required to fill up a damage/loss form. If required, a duplicated copy of the police report has to be submitted to technician within 3 working days. Cost of repair/loss will be determined using the guideline layout in the form.

Reporting of defects in Audio Visual Equipment

To enable the provision of quick and efficient service, we would like to appeal to students by reporting all defects they encounter in any of Audio Visual equipment (e.g. Projector, visualizer, microphone) to the technician at Media Resource room immediately. Prompt action will be taken to service the equipment. 

AV crew volunteer services 

Event(s) Support 

Student AV crew volunteers are provided for major college section events, as well as activities organized by the Students’ Council. 

To request for student AV crew volunteer services, CCA groups should request through their teachers-in-charge to the Studio Ardent CCA teacher-in-charge.  

All requests must be made at least 1 month in advance of the said event/activity, prior to the rehearsal or the actual event. 

A detailed plan and program schedule should also be submitted along with the request. The AV crew are not obliged to stay beyond the stipulated hours. The AV crew do not provide any equipment; therefore equipment requests must still be made to the Media Resource department.
