Design Thinking is a procedure used to innovate solutions to a problem. To utilize Design Thinking, you first must understand your users by gaining information on their perspectives, as empathy is a core aspect in design thinking. After learning about other’s perspectives, you then must analyze the information you have gained and find the core problems that these people are facing. Now that you have gained all of this information, you now have to start thinking outside of the box and brainstorm some creative innovations that could solve the problem, then take these ideas and create prototypes of these ideas, which will basically be watered-down versions of what the full product will be. These prototypes will be tested, and you will need to refine the idea, sometimes going back to previous steps to do so, which will eventually lead to the final product.
