What materials will you need for your project?

A Micro:bit, an iPad, and iMovie.

What is your plan to create in this project?

My plan is to create as many of my ideas as i possibly can.

What unique qualities will your project have?

My project will have a rhythm-based game with a BPM (beats per minute) and point system.

Daily Log

Day 1 - I started working on my rhythm game project.

Day 2 - I almost finished my rhythm game project.

Day 3 - I finished my rhythm game project.

Day 4 - I created my LED name project, as well as making videos for both the rhythm game project and the LED name project.

Reflection

Using a Micro: Bit, I created a rhythm game. I did this because I love rhythm games, and despite not knowing how to make the Micro: Bit produce sound, I wanted to make one.

During this process, I learned how to add sprites in a Micro: Bit.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I used something already made (a Micro: Bit) to make my own game.

A challenge I overcame on this project was Creating a sprite. I was able to do it by asking other students for the knowledge I needed to create a sprite.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fact that I didn't program music and instead learn how to do that. The reason why I would change it is because a rhythm game isn't really a rhythm game without a rhythm.
