Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working with a team.
What materials will you need for your project?
We will need cardboard, cardboard cutters, duct tape, paper, tinfoil, toothpicks, popsicle sticks, and an iPad.
What is your plan to create in this project?
Our plan is to create a putt-putt course.
What unique qualities will your project have?
It will have golf balls made out of paper and tinfoil and golf clubs covered in duct tape.
Day 1 - We worked on some golf balls and started getting our pieces for our course.
Day 2 - We Finished the golf balls and worked on our golf clubs
Day 3 - We finished the golf clubs and added more to our golf course.
Day 4 - We added some obstacles and finally finished the golf course.
Using cardboard, cardboard cutters, and many more tools, we created a putt-putt course. We did this because nobody had done it before, and we thought that it was a good idea.
During this process, I learned how to work as a team and collaborate with other people.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I created a project and shared it with the world for people to see.
A challenge I overcame on this project was Getting the paper for our golf balls wet. I was able to do it by asking to know where a sink was and using that to wet the paper.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change The course and make it longer. The reason why I would change it is because The course was very small.
