Day 1 - We figured out how to make the Makey-Makey work by using the EARTH (bottom of the Makey-Makey)

Day 2 - We created the Play-Doh keyboard with the Makey-Makey and recorded the video, but couldn't add a voiceover in time.

REflection

• Using Play-Doh and Makey-Makey, I created A Play-Doh Keyboard because Play-Doh is easy to mold and change into certain shapes.

• During this process, I learned how to use the EARTH at the bottom of a Makey-Makey to allow said Makey-Makey to work.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I used something that already exists (Makey-Makey) and created my own creation (Keyboard made of Play-Doh).

• A challenge I overcame on this project was the Makey-Makey not working properly. I was able to do it by learning that you are supposed to have something connected to the EARTH at the bottom of the Makey-Makey.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fact that we used Play-Doh. The reason why I would change it is because most of the other people's projects included Play-Doh, and I would like to do something more original.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Electronic Design.
