Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working in a team with two other people.
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need a Tello drone, an iPad, and objects to build an obstacle course with.
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to create an obstacle course for a tello drone to fly through.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My project will have a unique plan for a obstacle course.
I created a new website. I had to think of what tool I was going to use, as I didn't want to just do a scratch project again. I thought of the heat press, tello drone, and brainpad, and will have to choose one of them.
I have decided to do the Tello drone project with a group of people. We tested it a bit and started planning an obstacle course.
The Tello drone we had used had broke, and the other drones were either unavailable or broken, so we had to create a new idea.

Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working in a three person team.
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need scratch and a computer.
What is your plan to create in this project?
To create a game mixing every idea we have made.
What unique qualities will your project have?
An underground fighting match of stickman vs blocky man featuring flappy dragon and much more.
We created 3 separate designs for the stickman character in the game, one from each person in the team.
We created the design for block man, designed the arena, and created some controls for the characters, such as a punch, a block, and walking left and right.
We finished adding the block and punch attack for both characters, and added a work-in-progress win screen. The character will preform a finishing move, and a win screen will appear. This currently only applies to Stickman, though.
We added Block Man's Finishing move, including my brother's character, as he made it after school and wanted it to be in the game.

Using Scratch and a PC, my team and I created a Scratch fighting game featuring Block Man and Stickman. We did this because it seemed like a fun and interesting concept, and also a little challenge. Creating a design for the Block Man character seemed interesting, as there are many ways you can go with a character where the only rule is "blocky character", and, as I do not have as much experience with fighting games as any other genre, it seemed like a fun challenge.
During this process, I learned how to have a change of plans when something doesn't go as planned. We started this project trying to do a drone project, but due to an error in the propeller, this project fell through. This caused us to have to come up with a new plan, which was a scratch project, and come up with a new list of 10 ideas.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer. This is because we took the idea of a fighting game, and we added our own ideas, such as block man, and mixed some other ideas in there, such as an underground cave.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the first half of the project, which was the drones. Going into this project, the team I was in planned to do a drone project, but it fell short when we noticed that one of the propellers weren't operating, which rendered the drone useless. We were able to get past this by switching our project from drones to Scratch.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the combat system. The reason why I would change it is because the combat system was pretty boring, just having a punch and a block move. Adding some sort of kick move or a jump would have made the game more interesting to play.
