What materials will you need for your project?

I will need an iPad, a Merge Cube, and CoSpaces.

What is your plan to create in this project?

My plan is to create a short story using Augmented Reality.

What unique qualities will your project have?

My project will be a recreation of a comic I made on paper.

Daily Log

Day 1 - I started to draw my images for the project in Scratch, and imported them to the MERGE Cube.

Day 2 - I finished drawing my images and imported the rest to the MERGE cube.

Day 3 - I squashed and stretched some of the images to add movement.

Day 4 - I squashed and stretched another image, and tried to animate more, but lost my images due to seating arrangement change.

Day 5 - I Recorded my video for the project, and tried to record audio, but it didn't come out the way I wanted.

Day 6 - I rerecorded my video, and rerecorded audio for the video.

Day 7 - I added a title to my video using the iMovie gradient presets, and created a custom end card using Scratch.

Day 8 - I had trouble using my custom end screen due to Google Drive not allowing me to upload it, so I ended my video with another iMovie preset. I also finished my reflection.

Day 9 - A miracle happened, and somehow the video uploaded when I thought it didn't. I added it to my webpage, and my page was finished.

Using a Merge cube and iMovie, I took a comic I drew on paper, and recreated it in Augmented Reality. I did this because I really liked the pun I thought of for that comic.

During this process, I learned how to upload images to a Merge cube, as as well as learning how to code a Merge cube.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator. I know this because I used Augmented Reality to deliver a comical pun I had thought of.

A challenge I overcame on this project was my custom end screen not being able to be uploaded. I was able to do it by replacing it with a iMovie preset. This sadly meant I could not use my custom end screen, but at least I got to add one, even if it was just another iMovie preset.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fact that I recreated a comic. The reason why I would change it is because recreating a comic that is already made isn't being fully creative. creating an original piece would allow me to put more creativity into my project.
