Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working by myself.
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need Cricut, a Shirt, and a Heat Press.
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to create a design using cricut that I will place on a Shirt using a Heat Press.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My project will have my own OC (Original Character) on the Shirt.

Day 1 - I Experimented with the Cricut app.
Day 2 - I created a Design using Scratch and imported it into the Cricut.
Day 3 - With the help of some friends, I split each part into it's own color, but couldn't print them due to time.
Day 4 - I printed each Sheet and my friends helped cut them up.
Day 5 - I placed each vinyl piece and heat pressed it onto the shirt.
Using a Cricut and Heat Press, I created a Design and heat pressed it onto a Shirt because the Cricut not only allowed me to add my own character in my design, but I also get a physical item from it.
During this process, I learned how to import a design into the Cricut for it to cut it..
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I used something that already exists (Heat Press and Cricut) to print my own design onto a Shirt.
A challenge I overcame on this project was running out of time to finish the project. I was able to do it by asking my Next Hour Teacher if I could stay and finish the project.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my design to be simpler and have less colors/pieces. The reason why I would change it is because the pieces overlapped and, due to the many pieces, the heat press caused some of the vinyl to seem melted.
