This project is different from the rest, instead of showing off a created project using scratch, I am going to teach you how to use Scratch!
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working in a team of one other person.
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need a Chromebook, a webm to mov, and an iPad with iMovie.
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to create a tutorial on how to use Scratch.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My project will be using Scratch, which isn't even on the list of tools, deeming it never done before.
I created the website. I created an overview on how to find scratch and login, and an overview on how to use code. I will be making the overview on sound and costumes next time.
I created an overview on sprites, sound, and how to code an actual functioning game. Sadly, I quickly realized that I had no idea how to stitch the videos together. I tried iMovie, but turning the videos into a MOV format still didn't allow them to be used. I decided I would try to use VEED.IO, as it seemed very promising. I didn't have enough time to test it out today, though.
I got into VEED.IO and actually logged in so my progress on my How To would be saved. I added a few transitions, and I had to add a lot of subtitles, as I felt like recording my voice and having to insert it into the PC as a file would cause problems, as I don't know how to do that. Currently, I have gotten to the Costumes, which means I have 2 out of the 5 Total videos with subtitles, and 3/5 Pending.
I finished the video! Unfortunately, you have to subscribe to create a video longer than 10 minutes, and mine is. I'm not sure how I would shorten the video, so that will be a challenge.
Finished the How To Video.
