Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working by myself.
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need a computer, scratch, and my Chromebook to record.
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to create a video game including multiple boss battles.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My project will include multiple creative ideas for boss battles.
I started working on my list of 10 Good Ideas.
I tried to finish my list of 10, but I still need 2 Ideas. I also figured out what I was going to work on, so I created a backdrop for a cutscene in the game. It had a glowing light in the middle of the backdrop, so I made a lit and unlit version.
I finished the starting cutscene and started to work on the boss battle selection portion.
I Started working on the first boss battle, G-Low. I added 2 different attacks, and I started to work on his stun. The stun showed up in the last RPG game with the Rat Boss battle, and it's basically when you are allowed to hit the boss.
I finished the G-Low boss battle, adding 3 more attacks. I finished the stun, and now I have no need to work on G-Low anymore. I now must create a second boss battle. I planned for a third, as well as a secret boss battle against all three bosses, but I cut those due to time constraints.
I added the ending for the game, and finished the final attacks for the Red General boss.

Using Scratch and a Computer, I created A scratch game including multiple bosses because I thought that a game with multiple bosses you had to face off against was a fun premise. I also thought that it would allow me to share my creativity due to having to make multiple ideas for bosses.
During this process, I learned how to work with a time frame for a project. I had a few ideas that would take too long to support the time frame, so I sadly had to cut them. I also worked on my project at home so I could work on my project more and get it done in a reasonable time.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I took the idea of boss battles and created a few ideas for versions of a boss battle. These being the G-Low boss and the Hoodow General boss shown in my project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the short time frame allowed to me. I was able to do it by shortening the game and working on it at home. I had to finish the G-Low boss, as well as a few other details, at home. I also had to scrap some ideas due to not having enough time.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the low amount of boss battles. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like I didn't get to add enough boss battle ideas to my game since I had a low time frame. I was going to add a third boss battle, and maybe even a secret boss with all three boss battles at once, but the idea was scrapped due to not having enough time.
