Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I will be working by myself.
What materials will you need for your project?
I am going to need an iPad, iMovie Software, and images of the things I made
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to create a video about the things I made
What unique qualities will your project have?
I will add music to the background and add a little avatar to the corner of the video.
Day One - I worked on my list of ten ideas, and chose to make a video about the games I made, as well as answering the planning questions.
Day Two - I got my tablet and gathered a few images from things I have created.
Day Three - I gathered the rest of the Images, and started working on the voice-over.
Day Four - I finished the voice-over, added some finishing touches, and added a "credits" portion at the end of the video.
Using iMovie, an iPad, and images from my games I created, I constructed a video explaining my different games. I did this to show my projects and ideas to people who don't know me or my projects. I am showing my projects can know how other people think of my games and ideas.
During the creation of this iMovie, I learned how to input recorded sound into iMovie. I also learned how to change how long a piece of the movie is.
The seven standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator. I know this because I created a movie using iMovie and shared it to the world for people to see it and have their own thoughts and opinions on it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the project the minimum amount of seconds long the video was supposed to be, which was 30 seconds. I was able to overcome this by learning how to make the video longer. I used the fact that you can stretch a piece of the video to make my video longer, being able to finish the project.
Given a chance to do this again, I would add a little avatar to the corner of the video. The reason I would change this is because, on my planning questions, I said that I would add a little avatar to the corner of the screen. Sadly, due to time constraints, I couldn't add It. If I could do this again, I wouldn't spend all my time planning because I would already know what I was doing, and have more time to fit my character in it.
