Vaisakhi also known as Baisakhi or vaishakhi.It is mainly celebrated in Sikhism or Hinduism. The name Baisakhi is made of Vaisakh.Farmers of Punjab and Haryana celebrate New year happiness after harvesting the winter crop.That's why Baisakhi is the biggest festival of Punjab and adjoining territories. This is the symbol of happiness of the Rabi crops on this day on 13th April 1699 the tenth Guru Guru Gobind Singh Ji found Khalsa Panth. Sikhs celebrate this festival as collective birthday.Vaisakhi is a long established harvest festival in the Punjab. It had been celebrated long before it gained an added dimension for Sikhs. In 1699 the tenth guru, Guru Gobind Singh, chose Vaisakhi as the occasion to transform the Sikhs into a family of soldier saints, known as the Khalsa Panth.
