India is the land of languages , religions, dance, music , architecture , food etc . It is a land of unity in diversity where people of different sects, caste and religion live together. It is also called the land of unity in diversity as different groups of people co-operate with each other to live in a single society. Unity in diversity has also become strength of India. India’s culture plays a very significant role in making the country more lovely and beautiful . India’s all 29 states follow their own cultures and religious practices . It has a diversified culture which makes our country more prosperous . All the people of different religions live together with harmony and peace . It is unique country in which all religions are followed . The culture of India is one of the oldest and unique . The South , North and the northeast India have their own distinct cultures and almost every state has carved out it's its own cultural niche . There is hardly any culture in the world that is varied and unique as India . It is home to some of the most ancient civilizations including four major world religions , Hinduism , Buddhism , Jainism , Sikhism .
Indian culture, therefore, is the Indians’ way of life. Because of the population diversity, there is immense variety in Indian culture. The Indian culture is a blend of various cultures belonging to diverse religion, castes, regions follow their own tradition and culture.

Our country India has a number of heritage sites that enhance the beauty and looks of our country . These monuments and heritage sites were built around hundred of years ago by rulers or nobels of our country. In today’s time many tourists come to India to see these magnificent monuments and tourist places . Even one of the seven wonders of the world also belongs to India and that is ‘Taj Mahal’.
Taj Mahal was built by the famous ruler Shah Jahan in the memory of his loving wife Mumtaz Mahal . This fabulous wonder of the world is well known for its spotless white marble that gives a wonderful look to the well built wonder . There are many other appreciable heritage sites and those are :
The approach of Independence Day arises the feelings of patriotism and pride in every Indian’s heart. It brings a lot of happiness and joy in every house.We students, celebrated Independence day through a plethora of activities. To add on a fervor of patriotism along with some fun, we students of class 8th cooked Tri coloured Pasta and presented it creatively showcasing our National Flag in the Serving. India became an independent nation on 15th August,1947 and hence we celebrate our Independence Day on 15th August every year. It was the team spirit , unity and appreciable efforts of all the the reformers, freedom fighters and soldiers that today we can live a life of freedom and comforts . In order to appreciate this unity and team spirit shown by all the national heroes we celebrate independence day every year by decorating our classes , performing dances and the most amazing activity of this year of making a tricoloured pasta .
