SWBAT can compare and contrast two accounts of an an event in order to identify similarities and differences.


To demonstrate their ability to use the skill of comparison, students should:

● explain characteristics (i.e. who, what, where, why, when, and how) of historical developments.

●  categorize similarities and differences among historical developments. 

-Students will fill in the chart to determine what they have learned in the video.

2. Students will dicuss the ppt on historical perspective

     -students will examine pictures from different perspectives

3. Students will compare and contrast the reading from WWI on chlorine gas:

     a. students will break into groups of 2 or 3 to discuss each document

     b. Students will complete the "Comparison of Perspective Chart"
