● explain characteristics (i.e. who, what, where, why, when, and how) of historical developments.

analyze and infer ideas that are related to historical data 

2. Students will dicuss the ppt on historical thinking

3. Students will analyze and complete the time capsule documents:

     a. students will break into groups of 2 or 3 to discuss each document

     b. Students will complete the analysis and critical thinking questions at the bottom
