We will be learning to program using Microsoft Visual Community 2019. This environment make designing and programming Windows based applications fast and easy. You can download it from the official Microsoft website for free.

In order to be a competent programmer, you need to be willing to experiment with your programs beyond the basics that we cover in class. I recommend that you add additional features to your programs before submitting them in order to improve your learning. You will also get extra credit for additional features.
You are welcome to work ahead of the class, and also use some of your extra time to complete the Advanced Tutorials.
