On 28th January, Year 4 students visited iMuseum IMERI FKUI for the field trip. We visited this museum because our learning focuses are on body systems and healthy lifestyle. We wanted to learn about how body systems work and how they relate to each other. Students got some information related to the human body systems and they were also able to see a 3D human body visualization with more than 5.000 collections in the form of specimens and objects (artifacts) in the form of medical education aids, videos, media and directories. Students were informed about Indonesian medical history. Students showed enthusiasm by being actively involved in the interactive games related to the body systems which we were learning about.
In Bahasa Indonesia viewing and presenting sessions, students were given an assignment to create the Year 4 camp logo design. They were given choices to do it digitally or draw on paper. They showed their creativity by creating their logo based on the criteria set by their classes. The teachers chose four best designs from each class. Then, students were asked to vote for the best design. The winning logo design will be used for the Year 4 camp hat. Based on the voting, Karina’s logo design won first place. Beside the camp hat logo, students were also asked to create their own camp booklet cover.
