On February 3rd, 2020, Reception students went on a field trip to the MOTOMOTO Museum in QBIG BSD CITY to explore more about Primary, Secondary, Tertiary colors, and how man-made colors are used in the objects around us. The place was amazing; full of unique designs and hues! As little inquirers, we asked a lot of questions and made wonderings about where we had seen such colors or shapes in our daily life. The inviting rooms sparked a conversation about why color is used, the differences between light and dark color shades, and the emotions we feel when looking at color. Students compared soft, human-made colors like the pink and white sweet shop to the bright colors against the dark background in the storm cloud room. We were open-minded when we observed and discussed elements of the curiosity-sparking art installations that gave us ideas for art and crafts back at school. We were risk-takers when we moved from one interactive exhibit room to another while sticking to our group essential agreements. It was so much fun going on a field trip that broadened our knowledge about how we use color in our life. MOTOMOTO is definitely a brilliant place for learners of all ages to understand more about how the world works!
