Have you had the chance to take a look at our garden in the Primary Plaza and see how the plants have grown since last Semester?
The pictures above are plants/herbs that have been chosen by each year level in Primary to be planted and each one of them have healthy benefits that can be used at any time by the school community.
Some information that can be found about the plants/herbs:
· Turmeric (Kunyit): Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.

· Celery (Seledri): Celery contains a plant compound called apigenin, which plays a role in traditional Chinese medicine as an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and antioxidant agent.

· Aloe Vera (Lidah Buaya): The gel contains most of the bioactive compounds in the plant, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants.

· Lemongrass (Sereh): In food and beverages, lemongrass is used as a flavoring. For example, lemongrass leaves are commonly used as "lemon" flavoring in herbal teas.

· Java Tea Plant (Kumis Kucing): The leaves and stem tips are used to make medicine.

We have also added Indonesian Basil and Cassava Leaves to the list and these wonderful and healthy greens have been growing healthily ever since.
Please don’t forget to keep checking and taking care of them. Our lovely gardeners have helped us move the plants that have grown bigger and plant them in the garden’s wider soil.
