To begin my research on jellyfish I decided to go visit the local sea zoo in Anglesey to see some in real life. (This was at the beginning of Dec when we were out of lockdown.)
This trip was really fun, I hadn't been to a sea zoo in years so it was nice to get to see and experience all these amazing creature first hand.

Pretty starfish which have so much texture all over them. I was amazed and enthralled by the shapes, vibrant colours and textures of all the exhibitions.

The only type of jellyfish they had there were moon jellyfish which are small, translucent jellyfishes.
It was amazing to watch how they move and how they contract and relax. I took loads of videos to study and reference back to. (the videos will not show on this blog but hopefully I will find a way to get them up soon)
I'm really glad I got to go out and see them as it really helped me understand more about them and aided me in how I designed to create my version.
