Sofia Oliveira is a ceramicist from Sao Paulo. She took classes by potter Sara Carone and then went on to train in Paris. Once she returned to Brazil in 2015, she created her brand 'Olive Ceramics' where she makes her own functional ware.

I found Sofia Oliveira in a book from the library at college "Urban Potters-Makers In The City". What drew me to her work was her use of simple forms and range of colours. Her work contains minimalist forms with depth and texture being presented in her glazes.
