All staff are reminded about the requirement to protect student and staff personal information. This means that files with sensitive and/or personal information about students and staff cannot be downloaded onto personal electronic devices. Files that are about learning and teaching (only) can be downloaded onto personal electronic devices.

All staff with board-issued devices will have the opportunity to pick them up at their worksite. This will be a very controlled, organized process. More details to follow in a separate communication.

Grade 4-12 students with signed consent forms may pick up their iPad at school and bring it home for use. Alternatively, staff are permitted to deliver iPads if they would like to do so. Surplus iPads will be provided to Kindergarten to Grade 3 students and families based on need which will be determined in consultation with families, the teacher and principal.
