Overview

Google classroom allows teachers to create, distribute, give feedback & grade assignments for students in a class. It is easier to navigate on a PC but possible with the iPad app.

How to Login to Google

  1. Login to Google Classroom at: https://classroom.google.com/

  2. To login, you will need to use your G-Sute (GAFE) account: firstname.lastname@gafe.dsb1.ca

  3. If you forget your G-Suite Password, send an e-mail to: Helpdesk@dsb1.ca

Note: If you are attaching a google document for the students to complete independently make sure you select make a copy for each student.

Note: You can assign different tasks to different students. If you have a modified student you can assign a task to that student only.

Important Note: Guardians can only be added from a computer or Android device. The guardian feature only sends a weekly update to an email address. If you want the parents to see everything in Google Classroom, they will have to sign in using their child's GAFE account.
