The principal and educator (without Internet access) will troubleshoot individual situations.
The teacher could use the school teleconferencing number.
The following are brainstorming ideas for assisting educators without internet access:
a) The educator can type up their weekly plan on their board-issued iPad and then find Internet access to email it to students and/or families. For example, free wifi can be accessed in the parking lots of community locations such as arenas and schools.
b) Alternatively, the educator can email the weekly plan to the principal, secretary and/or a colleague who can share the weekly plan with students and/or families.
c) The educator can handwrite their weekly plan and drop it off to the school secretary to scan and email to students and families.
If a staff member has limited wifi, they are encouraged to explore options to work around this issue. For example, the Pragmatic teleconference number can be used to facilitate synchronous learning sessions with students.
