Apple has released four four student guides (Music, Drawing, Photo & Video) and a teacher guide for the Everyone Can Create Curriculum. Each student guide, which is free to download in the student AirWatch Catalog on the iPad (and in the catalog on the teacher's iPad), includes projects designed to help students learn new creative skills progressively. There is also a teacher guide with over 300 lesson ideas that can be used in a variety of subjects.

All ILC Courses Have Open Access

The Independent Learning Centre (ILC) has made all of their ILC courses, for all subjects, open and available. Teachers and students can freely access this material. When using this material, teachers still need to create their own questions, and have students submit responses to the teacher.

The ILC has AVI10 & AVI3M available. While this does not cover all of our classes, there might be some content that you can use. As well, you may find some useful ideas for content in your particular class.

The ILC courses can be accessed by clicking here.

Getting Started with Garageband

Make music with Touch Instruments

Use Touch Instruments to play keyboards, drums, guitars, strings, and more. Record your own vocals or plug in your guitar or bass, and play through a great selection of amps and stompbox effects.

Build your song

Choose from hundreds of Apple Loops to add to your song, add a drummer that plays along to the music you recorded, and mix your song with effect plug-ins.

Create music like a DJ

Use Live Loops to create electronic music by simply tapping cells and columns in the grid to trigger musical loops. You can build your own arrangements, then improvise and record a Live Loops performance.
