Monday
April 6
Read: Both new white books (Dawn's Voice and Down on the Farm). Look for and underline ow, ou and aw sounds and sight words.
Word work: green "take home" spell & sight word sheet
Write: In your journal, write at least 3 sentences about a book you are reading.
ZOOM: 10:00. We will start with well-wishes and Zones of regulation check-in. Bring a project or picture to share!
Homework: read 20 minutes
Tuesday
April 7
Read: re-read white books. Read the puzzle books and put pictures in order.
Word work: "Configuration station/Order in the court" with sight word worksheet

April 8
Read: The vocabulary reader and the leveled reader with your initials. Complete the activities on the last 2 pages.
Word work: SpellingCity. Make sure you practice list 25 words and spelling..
ZOOM: 10:00 (CHANGED FROM 2:30!!). Come in a costume or disguise, but please type your own name. We will be rhyming and reading silly poems.
Homework: Dojo a short recording of your reading. Read 20 minutes
Thursday
April 9
Read: read the vocabulary reader below and your white books. Practice fluency (don't "read like a robot"
Word work: Do "write the room". This week you have a page with the ow and ou words
Write: your spelling test and 2 sentences on the bottom of the form. OR take your spelling test on SpellingCity
ZOOM: 10:00. "Terrific Alaskan Tidepool Travels" activity with the Sea Life Center! If possible, please print out the 2 PDFs above.
Homework: Picture of spelling test (not needed if taken on SpellingCity) Read 20 minutes

Please read the book or books with your initials under them. You may try any of the books, but they may not be a good fit for you. Try to read or re-read books each day this week. (Note: the audio buttons do not work)

Ms. Doepken and Mrs. Mullaly's students click here to do LexiaCore5 for 15 minutes per day. Other students also have access.
