Monday

Spend 10 minutes practicing sight word flashcards.
Check Seesaw for today.
Read: (with help) the slides at the top of this page. Watch the video slide to review sight words.
Writing: Letter f in the Handwriting book. Watch the video before starting.
Read 20 minutes.

Tuesday

Spend 10 minutes practicing sight word flashcards from the sight word folders.
Check Seesaw for today.
Writing: Letter g in the Handwriting book. Watch the video before starting.
Read 20 minutes, at least 10 on Reading A-Z.
If your student uses Lexia Core 5 , please have them log in for 20 minutes. Kids have already done Lexia in class and will know if they have Lexia.

Wednesday

Spend 5-10 minutes practicing sight word flashcards from the sight word folders.
Check Seesaw for today.
Read: Watch the video and read the vocabulary reader "Ducks" from above. This book is also in most students' book folders.
Read 20 minutes.
Writing: Letter h in the Handwriting book. Watch the video before starting.

Thursday

Spend 5-10 minutes practicing sight word flashcards from the sight word folders.
Check Seesaw for today.
Read 20 minutes
Writing: Letter i in the Handwriting book. Watch the video before starting.

LexiaCore5

Lexia Core 5 students click here to do LexiaCore 15-20 minutes, at least 3 days per week.

**Use Chrome browser. The first time your child logs onto LexiaCore5 on their device, you will need to type sr@kpbsd.org as the teacher email. From there, they can use their school username and password. Most Chromebooks have Lexia bookmarked with your child's password saved.

Zoo Phonics- Children should practice their letter names and sounds each day. Print the Zoo phonics chart to refer to when children are reading and writing. Watch the video to learn the actions that go with each letter. Then practice on your own to see how quickly children can remember and make the letter sounds.
