WHAT WILL WE BE LEARNING NEXT WEEK?
In Language Arts, students will make inferences about an informational text by using key details and author's word choice.
In Math, students will interpret box plots. The unit common assessment will tentatively be on Wednesday.
In Accelerated Math, students will explore real-life phenomenon through statistics.
In Science, students will develop and use a model to explain the interaction of gravity and inertia that governs the motion of objects in the solar system.
In Social Studies, students will explain the impact of British discrimination on Aboriginal culture and lifestyle in the 20th century by identifying and using primary and secondary sources.

Georgia Milestones Testing This Week – How to Help Your Child Feel Ready
State testing begins this week, and a little preparation at home can help your child feel confident and calm.
Test Day Checklist:
Get a good night’s sleep
Eat a healthy breakfast
Arrive at school on time
Bring any required materials (fully-charged Chromebook, glasses, chargers, etc.)
Wear comfortable clothing
Tips for Reducing Test Stress:
Offer encouragement and keep expectations realistic
Remind your child to try their best and take their time
Practice deep breathing or positive self‑talk
Keep routines normal and limit extra stress at home
