My child was absent from school. What do I need to do?
To ensure learning continues, have your student check his or her Google Classroom for the assignments they missed while absent. If they feel like working on it from home, they may do so. If not, have them check in with their teachers upon returning to school with questions about what was missed.
As the parent, please provide documentation of the reason for the absence. This can be done by clicking on "Report Absences" in ParentVUE, sending in a handwritten note to the 6th grade office, or emailing the 6th grade clerk at jessica.robles@gcpsk12.org.
