Early Reading Indicator Coding for all students in grades K-2:
Update the list in Skyward in the fall and at the end of the school year
Per data standards:
The EARLY-READING-INDICATOR-CODEs 1, 2, and 3 only apply to students in grades KG, 01, and 02. Students enrolled in all other grade levels should be reported with a blank.
For Submission 1 (Fall Submission): report grade level reading status based on the Beginning of Year assessment results.
For Submission 3 (Summer Submission): report grade level reading status based on the latest assessment results available for the student.
Change the student to a 1 if they dropped from a 2 to a 1 based off of this.
Print a copy of the report for your records.

Verify LEP students are coded LEP and at-risk.
If they are not coded LEP, email Dina Hernandez and me. Dina will double check eligibility of LEP and code them if necessary.
