Activity 2
Compare and Contrast the two wolves (the wolf from the 3 little pigs and the the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood) using a Venn Diagram.

Change the setting. On a piece of paper, draw and write about the setting of Little Red Riding Hood, then on that same paper, change the setting to some place different. Draw and write about that setting.

In The Three Little Pigs, the wolf uses physical strength (huffing and puffing) to try to destroy the pigs’ houses.
In Little Red Riding Hood, the wolf’s main goal is to eat Little Red and her grandmother.
In The Three Little Pigs, the wolf’s main goal is to get into the pigs’ homes to eat them.
In Little Red Riding Hood, the wolf is usually defeated by a rescuer (like the woodcutter) and Red is saved.
In The Three Little Pigs, the wolf is outsmarted by the pigs, especially the one with the strong brick house, and often runs away.
