Build a Better Beanstalk
Jack heard a rumor that there are even more treasures to be found at the giant’s castle. He needs your help to build a better, stronger beanstalk in order to get them. Build a model that is exactly 3 feet tall. The model must be free-standing. Revise your first idea if it doesn’t work.
Materials:
4 pipe cleaners
4 straws
2 pieces of paper
3 feet of yarn
3 feet of tape

Jack’s Parachute
Build Jack a parachute, so he doesn’t have to climb down the beanstalk to escape from the giant. Your parachute should slowly drop a Lego man into the taped off square.
Materials:
2 pieces of paper
1 coffee filter
2 pieces of tissue paper
1 piece of newspaper
3 feet of string
