EVERY lesson has a reflection in the last 5 minutes. WHAT - SO WHAT - NOW WHAT?
To encourage students to listen carefully and slow their thinking in order to notice aural features of a text.
1. Students listen to an audio text.
2. When the audio has finished, they make a list of 10 words or phrases relating to form, rhythm, rhyme, meter, onomatopoeia, alliteration, assonance etc.
3. Students listen a second time.
4. When the audio has finished, they try to add another 10 words or phrases to their list.
