For my art piece, I choose to use Premiere Pro due to its multiple functionalities within editing and its ability to add custom effects. I have done experimental footage of different angles and ideas in order to gain a more complex understanding of how each angle gives off a particular atmosphere in a scene. By having a film based around my identity I hope to convey the meaning of understanding another person’s personality and how they can differentiate from your own.

Throughout the construction of my film, I was continuously making decisions on the expression of my own identity. This was either through understanding what I do in a day to day, down to how my personality effects how I think and feel. Personalities are the foundation of how we think, feel and act. It is an aspect of our lives we have no control over but are subconsciously born with, rather then to distance ourselves from who we are we need to embrace our individualism. My film’s purpose it to show people how our identity and personality is intertwined into our life in many aspects but is brought to light the most when we engage in our personal lives. Symbols used such as breathing deeply when outside symbolise calming our mind to be at peace with our emotions and world around us.
