Meadowpark earns Core Award; Cockenzie earns Silver
Congratulations to Meadowpark Communication Provision who became ELC's second Reading School, earning their Core Award.Â
Congratulations to Cockenzie Primary School, East Lothian's first Reading School, who upgraded to a Silver Award after earning their Core in June.
East Lothian's reading and literacy achievements were celebrated and shared at an event with East Lothian Library Services and Scottish Book Trust, hosted at Preston Lodge High School on Tuesday, 21st January. Fiona Chandran accepted the Meadowpark trophy, while Kirsty Sandilands accepted Cockenzie's.
East Lothian teachers and community partners shared resources and best practice at the event. Thank you all who attended!
