Register to take part in Reading Schools Week, a five-day celebration of all things Reading Schools! All schools are welcome to register, whether or not you have started on your Reading Schools journey.
If you are interested in scheduling a visit to a local library during Reading Schools Week, or at any other point during the school year, please visit or contact your local library. We'd love to help celebrate and support reading in your school community!

Law Primary School was officially accredited as a Gold Reading School in July 2026. Congratulations to the hard work of staff, pupils, and parents at Law on the achievement.
Congratulations also to all East Lothian schools who were accredited during the 2025-26 school year. We are proud to have 11 Reading Schools across the Authority, with many more well on their way!
