Role-Specific Legislative Training Opportunities
These courses are suitable for Education Service staff with specific duties which require specialised training or accreditation.
Elementary Food Hygiene
If you are handling or preparing snacks for children you must complete the Elementary Food Hygiene first. If you require this online learning please email staffdevelopment.ecs@eastlothian.gov.uk who will arrange this for you. If this learning is required by a particular date we ask that you make your request well in advance.

Moving & Handling
If you require Moving and Handling training please contact staffdevelopment.ecs@eastlothian.gov.uk. In the meantime learnPro has a Manual Handling Theory Module which can be found under the Essential training page. This would give you the theory and basics of moving and handling until such times that a course can be organised. This does not however replace the full training.
