Project Box Collection & Delivery Dates - Important updates

We are currently recruiting for a new library van driver which is impacting on our services. While we recruit to the role, we will be unable to collect Term 1 project boxes from schools in December as usual.

Term 1 boxes - collection

If you are able to return project boxes to Library & Museum Headquarters in Haddington, that is most appreciated. If so, please contact us at the details below to arrange a suitable time for drop off. Otherwise, we will collect Term 1 boxes in the new year. Dates of collection will follow once we have a driver in post.

Term 2 boxes - delivery

We aim to get Term 2 project boxes out to schools in late January. We may be able to provide boxes sooner if you are able to collect from Library & Museum Headquarters. However, due to delayed returns of Term 1 boxes, we will have a limited selection of books and therefore may not be able to fill every project request.

A project request form is attached. For inclusion in the delivery of Term 2 boxes, please return to schoollibraryservice@eastlothian.gov.uk as soon as possible. The earlier you get your request in, the more likely we will have stock available to fill it. Exact dates of collection will follow once we have a driver in post.
