Thursday 7th September 2023

When we got there we sat down and Di told us about all the plants at gilmerton gardens.Then the P6s  and Freya got a tour with Mrs Mitchell and the P7s where split into two groups.Some did harvesting with Di and were harvesting tomatoes and some went with Charlie and picked potatoes. After counting them, there ended up that there were 95 potatoes picked today. 

Then we had a extra long break where we played a long game of team tig

After we did a scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt included things like fuzzy  leaves, thistles, pumpkins, nettles etc...

We enjoyed looking at the Willow today. We decided we could use the willow to do some weaving near Christmas time, and maybe make some willow wreaths to sell at our Christmas fair.

after looking around the hole garden the people who were harvesting were done when we were done looking around the hole also when the people were done doing the tomatoes we had are break and everyone played team tig after that we done a scavenger hunt we had to find some leaves with different  patterns and some different things.
